Hydroflex developed an innovative surfboard construction that is being shared with local surfboard shapers. To make this possible years of research and developement were necessary to reach the present condition. All Hydroflex boards are hand shaped and produced in the USA. Surfboard shapers deliver their shaped blanks to the Hydroflex factory in Oceanside, where they are to be glassed in Hydroflex Technology. This enables an optimal division of work whereby the surfboard shapers are able to concentrate on their shaping competences. The result are high performance boards with many advantages compared to conventional surfboard constructions!
This is the Loveboat by Bufo Surfboards with Hydroflex Supercharger Technology. Comes with Diamond tail & down rails for serious carving turns. The full nose and the healthy volume distribution allow the surfboard to paddle fast and catch waves easy. A very flat bottom contour with a light vee in the tail let the surfboard sit high on the water in order to create less drag and tons off drive. Works really well as a quad for more extreme surfing but still available as a classic single fin for more stability while riding the nose.
